So the Beetle is riding SUPER close to the sides of the fenders. All of the documentation and research I’ve done on fender rolling points to just the inner flap getting pushed back. Is there anyway to “fold” the corners of the actual fenders back into the wells to get more room in there?

Sounds like someone needs to do an old Jeep trick - cut yo fenders. That or take your fender line out (or detach it) and start massaging them back with a hammer.

Pretty sure you can’t roll plastic. This is more like something that needs some cutting.

Cut along where it is flat on the side :D

On sale. Don’t do it with a hammer!!
You put that corner up on a jackstand, remove the wheel and bolt this onto the lugs. You heat the metal with a heat gun hot to the touch but not enough to burn the paint. This will help stop the paint from cracking.
Start rolling the fender lip. Very small roll pressure, more heat, more pressure, more heat.
Forty bucks well spent muh man.

We have one of those! I can roll the outside and not just the inside lip with it?
